2nd annual Perioperative Clinical Action Network Summit  

November 17th and 18th 2024

It’s a two-part event.  On November 17th, from 6 PM to 8 PM, we’ll showcase the latest and greatest PCAN Innovation Projects. Think of it as a sneak peek into the future of surgery—minus the sci-fi special effects.  Snacks and a cash-bar will be available.

Then, on November 18^th, starting with breakfast at 7:30AM, prepare for a full day of excitement between 8AM – 4PM.  Picture this: you, your colleagues, and some of the sharpest minds in the surgical field, all coming together to swap stories, share ideas, and perhaps reveal a few surgical secrets.

Our headliner is the illustrious Dr. Dan McIsaac, a top-notch anesthesiologist with a flair for data science and clinical trials. Dr. McIsaac is a CIHR-funded expert on a mission to revolutionize the care of older surgical patients. That's not all! This summit isn't about sitting through endless lectures. We’re bringing you interactive sessions, hands-on workshops, and enough content to keep you on your toes. Roll up your sleeves and dive into dynamic discussions, forge new collaborations, and enjoy some friendly competition.

Important Details 

• Due to limited capacity, physicians, patients, and senior administrators will be given priority to this event.

• Sessional and travel expense support only provided to physicians.

• Please review the PCAN Summit Travel and Expense Guidelines for details on acceptable expenses and claims/sessional submission.
